Business payments for UAE services and trading

Connect business payments to the work, documents and delivery conditions that matter in your industry.

Different work needs different proof

A supplier can show that goods arrived. A service provider may need to show that a defined task was completed. The payment discussion becomes harder when both are described with the same vague word: delivered.

PaySec connects business agreements to evidence that fits the actual work. Both parties define the scope in a digital contract. The customer's payment is secured in a bank.

For UAE businesses, the useful detail is often specific to the engagement. A signed delivery note may suit general trading. A service engagement may need a submitted application or a completed report.

Corporate services and business setup

A business setup package can include document preparation, application work and service handover. Describe which activities the provider will perform and which inputs the client must supply. Avoid leaving the entire package under a single unexplained heading.

Separate the provider's work from decisions made by an outside authority. An application submission and an approval are different events. The agreement should make clear which event completes each stage.

Identify government and other third party charges separately from the provider's service fees.

PRO services and document clearing

PRO services and typing centres work with forms, supporting documents and client instructions. Define the task and the evidence that shows it was completed. Identify what the client must provide before the provider can proceed.

An official submission receipt may support one stage. A document handover may support another. Choose the evidence for the promised service rather than treating every document as proof of completion.

IT and managed services

An IT project can separate equipment delivery, installation, testing and handover. Describe the work and checks at each stage. Name the buyer's reviewer before the provider submits the completion evidence.

A support engagement can connect payment to an agreed service period or completed task. The scope identifies what the payment covers.

Consulting and project services

A consultant may deliver a report, a workshop or another agreed work product. State the required output and the scope of any revisions. Avoid linking acceptance to a broad expectation that neither side can measure.

For project services, identify the client inputs and access needed for the agreed work.

General trading and supply orders

General traders need clear quantities, specifications and delivery locations. If an order arrives in batches, define the evidence for each batch. A signed receipt should identify what arrived rather than only referring to the total order.

For supply orders, agree the goods and completion requirements before committing.

Startup business purchases and service contracts

Startups buying equipment, commissioning software or engaging consultants can define the deliverables for each payment stage. Startups supplying those services can agree the same conditions with their business clients.

Example of a Dubai document preparation engagement

A Dubai business agrees an AED 18,000 professional service package. The parties set AED 6,000 for document preparation and AED 12,000 for the agreed application and handover work.

They identify the required files and the evidence for each stage. The example amounts describe the provider's work, not government charges. Any external charges need their own explanation in the agreement.

The provider completes the agreed work. The client confirms completion through PaySec. PaySec sends the release instruction, and the bank releases payment under the agreed terms.

Questions about different industries

Does the same evidence work for every industry?

No. The parties agree evidence that matches their goods or services. A trading delivery note and a consulting report support different types of work.

Can PaySec decide whether an authority will approve an application?

Authority decisions remain outside the service provider's control. The contract should define the provider's work and distinguish it from an external decision.

Are licensed freelancers included alongside companies?

Yes. Sellers include licensed freelancers with a UAE freelance permit. Their agreements should identify the deliverable and the evidence their business client will review.

Can the deal have separate payment stages?

The parties can agree milestones that reflect the work or deliveries. The bank releases the relevant payment after buyer confirmation and the release instruction, under the agreed terms.
